Lissa in the manga
Lissa was a 14-year-old girl who went to the school that the Flock temporarily attended in School's Out - Forever. Max called her "The Red-Haired Wonder".
History[]
Fang first met Lissa during class on his first day, where she asked him if he knew where the dictionaries were. He looked at her, and she told him where the class kept their reference materials and explained to him what they could do during their free study time. Fang thanked her, and she said, "No problem," and introduced herself. Stepping closer to Fang, she also said she was glad he was in her class, and when Fang asked why, she asked him what he thought.
While Max was hurrying down the hall the next day, she caught sight of Lissa and Fang kissing in an empty classroom.
During the school's field trip to the White House, Lissa smiled at Max and asked her if she was Fang's sister.
Appearance[]
Lissa had long, neatly-parted red hair—most of which was on the right side of her face—green eyes with eyelashes that sparked up, and glossy lips due to makeup. She wore her regular school uniform.
Personality[]
Lissa had the tendency to flirt with anybody she found cute. She was an extrovert who was not afraid to speak her mind—when Fang asked her where the dictionaries were, she replied and showed them to him and explained some procedures of the classroom. She then flirtatiously told Fang she was glad that he was in her classroom. Fang was confused by her behavior and asked what Lissa meant, to which she leaned in and said, "What do you think?"
She was also not afraid to show deep affection for the people she liked, as seen when Max found her kissing Fang in a classroom and having her arm looped around him and standing close to him at the museum.
Trivia[]
- In Saving the World and Other Extreme Sports and MAX, Max remembered the incident with "The Red-Haired Wonder" as one of the times she felt extreme jealousy over Fang. She also concluded after the second book that Fang had a thing for red hair.
- Fang tells Max that kissing "that girl" means nothing now, and then they make a comment on how Virginia sucked.
- She is not seen after the second book.
- Her name might be a nickname of "Alissa".
